Typen

Ticket Types allow you to categorize tickets based on the information they contain. For example, the type “Question” could be assigned to tickets that are exclusively questions.

Add, Edit Type

The following types are set up in SimpKo, but can be individually adjusted or even deleted:

  • Question
  • Problem

Add, Edit, Delete Type

Go to Management >> Ticket Properties >> Types.

Add, Edit Type

  • Add type: Click on "New Type".

    Edit existing type: Click in the line of the type to be edited or click on the edit icon ().

  • Available Form fields:

    Name: Enter the desired name for the type.
    Description: A description for the type can be added.
    Colour: By clicking on "Pick a colour" you can select a desired colour.
    Sort: In order to enable sorting and filtering according to ticket types, the type must be numbered.
    Active: For a type to be available for ticket handling, it must be enabled. If you disable a type, it remains in the tickets in which it was used, but is no longer available for selection.

  • After creating/editing click on Save.

  • In case of multiple Language Tabs: 'Name' and 'Description' of the types are to be entered for each language. The contents of the other form fields 'Colour', 'Sort' and 'Active' are only saved once per type.

Delete Type

Deleting a type removes that type from the system and also from existing tickets.

  • To delete a desired type, click on the delete icon () and then on Yes, Delete to confirm the deletion process.
