System and Support Languages
SimpKo distinguishes between System languages and Support languages.
For information on creating and managing languages, see Managing Languages. You can also find information on using multiple activated languages here.
System Language
The system language refers to the language in which the user interface is displayed, system messages appear and notifications are sent to agents (e.g. concerning a ticket assignment).
SimpKo offers the possibility to choose between German or English as system language. The language selection can be carried out individually by each user by selecting the language in the top toolbar. Both system languages must be activated in order for a selection option to be available. If an option is not required, the unwanted system language can be disabled.
If both system languages are enabled, tabs are available for both languages - see Multilingual Capability for more details.
Support Language
Support languages allow notifications to be adapted to the language of the requesters and users. By default, German and English are enabled as support languages. If only one support language is used, the unneeded support language can be deactivated.
Content/texts used in automated notifications can be translated for all activated support languages. Based on the language set in the respective customer profile (profile of the requester), the correct language version of the content is automatically inserted in the notification. How to set a support language for customers, see Manage Customers and for users, see User Profile Settings.
